On the morning of April 14, Michaela Platt Stoeber, Director of Human Resources at Continental AG, led a delegation to visit HFU’s Continental Tires Academy, to whom Wu Pingchuan, Chair of the University Council, extended a warm welcome.
During their meeting, the Academy’s development, its core initiatives of dual-system higher education reform, and its remarkable achievements over the past decade, were introduced.
Michaela Platt Stoeber fully recognized the Academy’s innovative practices and achievements in the field of dual-system education. She stated, Continental AG attaches great importance to strategic cooperation with HFU, and Continental Tires Academy, a model of Sino-German educational cooperation, has cultivated a large number of high-quality applied talents for the enterprise.
Wu Pingchuan pointed out, HFU will further deepen cooperation with Continental AG, jointly explore new models for postgraduate training under the dual-system higher education framework, further elevate the talent cultivation level, and provide more interdisciplinary and innovative talents for the high-quality industrial development. He emphasized, both sides should further expand cooperation areas, deepen the industrial integration, as well as academia and research, and set a benchmark model for school-enterprise collaborative cultivation.
Michaela Platt Stoeber and her delegation visited the Automation and Process Control Laboratory at the Academy. In the classroom, she had in-depth exchanges with the students, and encouraged everyone to cherish the unique advantages of dual-system education and strive to become high-quality engineering and technical professionals with a global vision.
Afterwards, the delegation participated in the mural painting activity at Continental Tires Academy.
